A Sparkling Gris de Noir from Church & State Wines for Mother’s DayPR SAMPLE

Mother’s Day is this Sunday, May 12.  Your spouse or mother would probably love to enjoy a bottle of sparkling wine.  I have a spectacular bottle of BC’s Church & State Wines Gris de Noir Brut 2020 made in the Traditional Method from Pinot Noir grapes.  It is available at the winery.  It may also be at some of the restaurants listed below.  Let me tell you about this wine.

Appearance: It has a clear, bright, medium-intensity peach colour.  Medium-sized bubbles.
Nose: Medium intensity youthful aromas of crisp red fruit and red apples.
Palate: It is dry, medium-plus body and flavour.  Mouth-filling but has a light mouthfeel. Medium-plus acidity provides excitement and a firm acidic backbone to the wine.  A mix of creamy and biting medium-sized bubbles.  Tart red fruit and crunchy apple flavours, plus a hint of lees.  Fresh flavours!
Finish: A medium-length finishing with tart red fruit and crisp red apples.  A hint of tannins on the finish.

Rating: 4.5 stars5 stars Delicious. Fresh tart red fruit and crisp red apple flavours.  A dry wine that has higher acidity, medium-sized creamy and biting bubbles.  Medium length.  A bottle that you would drink without leaving a drop.
