Ravenswood Dinner – No Wimpy Wines

Ravenswood logoI’m so excited because tomorrow I will be attending a media dinner to try a flight of wines by Ravenswood Winery wine maker Joel Peterson at the Flying Pig in Yaletown.  The wines I will be sampling, and tweeting live to you will be:

  2. Ravenswood VB Zinfandel 2009
  3. Sangiacomo Chardonnay
  4. Lodi Zinfandel 2009
  5. Sonoma Zinfandel County Series 2008 or 2009
  6. Barricia Zinfandel 2008
  7. Old Hill Zinfandel 2008
  8. Teldeschi Zinfandel 2009
  9. Late Harvest Gewurztraminer

I did visit the Ravenswood Winery in Sonoma, California a few years ago, enjoying their big, juicy Zins, and I am really excited to try them again, but also their Chardonnays and one Late Harvest wine!  Stay tuned tomorrow and watch for the #YVRWine hashtag in Twitter for my impressions during the dinner.   Cheers!
