Flat Rock Cellars Riesling 2018 (ON $16.15 on sale)
There are fewer dinners more delightful than Thai and Riesling, am I right?
Now, I usually go for German Rieslings when it comes to spicy food pairings, but seeing as how I recently polished off the last of my case of Weingut Gunderloch, I reached for something local to pair with my homemade red curry noodles this time.
Enter Flat Rock Cellars 2018 Riesling. With notes of green apple, white blossoms, pears, grapefruit zest, and wet stones, this off-dry Riesling worked perfectly with the spice of the dish. On the palate, there was a slight effervescence but a nice clean finish that made the wine very easy drinking. We even sipped it as a dessert after the meal was done!
I would do this pairing again!
