Family-Friendly and Pet-Friendly BC Wineries & Cideries for Summer 2026

It is not too late to start checking out wine-inspired vacation destinations in British Columbia.  But if you have children and/or fur babies, you may want to pick locations and wineries that have something to offer for them as well. Here is a list of BC wineries and more that have family-friendly options for parents travelling with children or pets for 2026.  Some of the information for BC wineries in 2026 are updates from winery options I received in 2025.  I have included a link to the 2025 article I wrote, but I cannot guarantee all the information from 2025, as I have not heard back from all the wineries in that article.

If your winery also offers something for children and/or pets, please contact me, and I will add your information to this list.

Family and Pet-Friendly Wineries 2026

Haywire Winery (Okanagan Crush Pad)

Haywire Winery welcomes families and well-behaved dogs to enjoy wine country together. Children are welcome with adult supervision, and dogs are welcome in outdoor tasting areas when leashed and controlled. The winery’s relaxed hospitality, shaded dog-friendly areas, fresh water for pets all contribute to a welcoming, family-friendly experience while maintaining the safety expectations of a working winery. Haywire also offers Dominion Soda as a family-friendly alternative to alcoholic beverages.

Monte Creek Winery

Spend the day enjoying our picnic area, where you can purchase a bottle of wine from the tasting room and order delicious food from the Terrace Restaurant to enjoy outdoors.  With plenty of open green space, there’s lots of room for little ones to play and four-legged friends to stretch their legs while you relax and soak in the vineyard views.

Join us on the third Friday of every month from 5:00 to 8:00 PM for our Summer Night Market featuring local vendors, live music, food trucks, and a welcoming atmosphere for all ages (and well-behaved dogs!).

We also have a Music at Monet on the first Friday of every month, where guests can enjoy live music, great wine and summer evenings in a relaxed, family and dog-friendly setting.

We have space for kids to play on the property, and we have lots of space for people to hang out with their dogs and enjoy some wine and a picnic and take in the view.

Last Year’s Article

There are wineries in my 2025 article that I have not yet heard back to confirm their child or pet-friendly options.  I assume that there is no change, but to be safe, I did not put them in the 2026 list. You can read about them in my link to the 2025 article about BC wineries with family-friendly options.
