UKO Wines is a new project, established in 2016 with a vision to create small lots of high-quality wines thoughtfully tended throughout the winemaking process. It is a collaboration between two close friends, both second family generation related to the wine business during all their lives.
Following their vision, the number one priority was to find the best site for the production of premium wines of great depth and unique personality. This way, the friends decided to invest mostly in the main oasis where the best vines are grown: Uco Valley, giving the name to the brand.

The winery combines age-old tradition with the latest innovation. The winery was built in the 1890’s after the style and architecture typical of Argentine wineries by those times. It also features smaller pools that hold from 5.000 to 20.000 liters and enable the making of grapes in well-defined batches along with the carrying out of a comprehensive follow-up of each variety. This then becomes the proper place to achieve Premium and Ultra-Premium high-quality variety wines as regards termination and control.
Wine movement is kept to a minimum within the winery and the bottling is carried out through high-technology equipment located just a few meters away from the pools. The basement of the winery holds a beautiful cellar where great red wines such as the Ultra-Premium of UKO Wines are kept to mature.
