As I was out in the Okanagan in September visiting a few wineries, I took a few pictures of different grape varieties. We all know the names of different grapes, but what do they look like? Did you know that ripe Pinot Gris skins are not yellow? As they mature they turn a pinkish brown and then purple colour.
Below are pictures of different varieties of grapes from this year and a few pictures from last year’s harvest. Enjoy.

If you took any images of grapes this harvest season and you can correctly identify the variety, I would be happy to include your images in this article. Please email me full-resolution images unedited. I will crop and enhance it before posting. And give you credit for your image.
