Hollick Wines have adopted the slogan “Pride of Place” to reinforce the emphasis on individual vineyard characteristics. These wines are food friendly and are well sought after in restaurants around the world. Not surprisingly, the production from Hollick is eagerly sought each year.
The winery has been awarded a 5 star rating by renowned Australian Wine Writer James Halliday.
The Wines We Will be Pouring
Bond Road Chardonnay – Elegant and vibrant with a full palate of peach and fig, a creamy texture and with layers of flavour. The finely grained French oak is supported by the well balanced acidity.
Shiraz – An intense amalgam of dark berries, plums and dark chocolate. The finish is long and held together by a powerful tannin structure and finely balanced natural acidity.
Cabernet Sauvignon Hollick Old Vines – An intense wine with layers of dark berry fruit flavours. Chalky tannins layered with mulberry, olive and dark plum give elegance and finesse. Typical Coonawarra.
The Bard Cabernet Sauvignon – Lifted mulberry and black-berry aromas over restrained French oak. A generous and juicy palate filled with fruit and finely balanced by acid creating a well-rounded wine with an elegant finish
