Talking with Miguel Torres Maczassek at the Vancouver Playhouse Intl Wine Festival

Miguel Torres is best known as a wine making family with long pedigree from Spain.  From Spain they have spread out around the world.  One place where they have taken root has been Chile; the Curico Valley to be precise.  Their winery is very well known for their high quality Cordillera red blend. But when I was at the Vancouver Playhouse International Wine Festival tasting room, I found out that they also have a Cordillera Chardonnay, which is also very nice, and was one of my Festival purchases. I was fortunate to speak with Mr. Miguel Torres Maczassek the Executive President of their Chilean winery.  He told me a little of their history of wine making in Chile, their push for sustainable wines, and also producing Fair Trade certified wines.  Listen to Miguel in my YouTube video.  Enjoy!
