Top Drop Vancouver Returns in May: Get Your Tickets!

If you want to taste top-shelf wine from around the world, attend Top Drop Vancouver.  I’ve attended the last two years and can vouch for the wines that you will enjoy.  Here is my review of last year’s event:

Top Drop Vancouver 2017 – An Authentic Experience

And here is the announcement of the upcoming Top Drop event, along with the list of wineries that will be in attendance.  Cin cin.

Unique two-day festival brings together international wineries, craft breweries, cideries, gastronomy & more

While honest wines are the centerpiece of the festival, the restaurant and wine industry professionals behind the event believe craft beer, cider and gastronomical pursuits are all part of the same dynamic conversation, with each playing a key part in the event.

Now in its fifth year, Top Drop Vancouver welcomes New York City-based Wine & Spirits magazine as media sponsor. To celebrate this partnership, those purchasing tickets to The Main Event grand tasting by Monday, April 30th will have the opportunity to be entered into a draw to win one of 12 one-year subscriptions to the magazine; winners will be announced on Tuesday, May 1st.

Over the two days, Top Drop offers Vancouver’s wine professionals and enthusiasts unique events and opportunities. As Top Drop’s flagship experience, The Main Event is a walk-around, grazing-style tasting where, alongside enjoying sips and stories from the principals of over 36 international wineries, attendees can visit and taste with a good handful of British Columbian craft breweries, cideries and food purveyors.

The Main Event will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, May 18th at Yaletown’s Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre (181 Roundhouse Mews). A full list of event participants follows, and can be found on the festival’s website. Tickets are $75 and available online at TopDrop.ca. Event proceeds go to the BC Hospitality Foundation, an organization providing financial support to individuals from the hospitality industry facing a major medical crisis.
