Every year there are fewer and fewer soldiers from the Great Wars alive in Canada and around the world to remember their hardships, their family’s hardships, and those of their comrades who passed away in service overseas. As I’ve mentioned in previous years, I think it is very worthwhile for everyone, if they can to go to Europe and visit the WWI and WWII memorial sites. They are very powerful and hopefully remind us of the costs of war.
Don’t forget either about our soldiers helping to secure peace in wars currently around the world.
