To complement my blog article about the “Northern Gem, Southern Icon” dinner with Concha y Toro at the Blue Water Cafe, I also recorded a video. The video is an introduction to the winery, the wines we will be tasting, their iconic Cabernet Sauvignon wine “Don Melchor“, and an introduction to Chile’s signature red grape “Carmenere“. Our speaker was Ms. Isabel Guilisasti Gana, the Marketing Director Origin Wines for Concha y Toro. This dinner was part of the Vancouver Playhouse International Wine Festival 2012.
The seating was in an intimate back room for the Blue Water Cafe, with 2 walls lined with bottles of wine. Enjoy!
Drink Good Wine. That is my motto and I really want to help you drink good wine. What is good wine? That can be a different thing for each people. Some people prefer red wines. Some only like Cabernet Sauvignon.MyWinePal was started by Karl Kliparchuk, WSET. I spent many years with the South World Wine Society as the President and then cellar master.
